"Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community."
-Anthony J. D'Angelo
Many of the resources we depend on daily are informal and not funded
by the state. Do you know a summer camp that does a terrific job with
kids with disabilities? How about a barber or a dentist? Maybe you
know of 100 percent community-based leisure activities? Or a child
care center that accepts infants and pre-schoolers with disabilities
and serves them well?
Don't you want to share this information with a person with a
disability or their family so they don't have to sort through six or
seven bad resources before they discover a good one?
That's what Resources is for. It is starting out empty. TheArcLink
won't know about these resources until you tell us. As it grows in
each state, we'll keep the information sorted in an accessible way
appropriate to the number of entries.
TheArcLink will review all submissions to make sure they are not
already in the database and will independently check entries to
verify the information.
Help us build a better community. Help us learn more about your
resource so that others, too, may benefit from your discovery. Tell
us about your resource by simply filling out
TheArcLink Resources Response Form.
